A reading series is a curated collection of literary events where authors are invited to read their work in front of an audience. These events are often held regularly, showcasing a variety of writers and genres. Reading series provide a platform for authors to share their work, connect with readers, and build their audience. They are a great way for literary enthusiasts to discover new writers and engage with the local literary community. **

Yes, a young person can wear reading glasses if they have difficulty seeing up close. Many young people experience presbyopia, a natural aging process of the eye that causes difficulty in focusing on close objects. This can occur in people as young as their late 30s or early 40s. Wearing reading glasses can help alleviate this issue and improve their ability to see up close. **

There are several reasons why fewer young people are reading books. One reason is the increasing prevalence of digital distractions such as social media, video games, and streaming services, which compete for their attention. Additionally, the demands of school, extracurricular activities, and part-time jobs leave less time for leisure reading. Furthermore, the lack of emphasis on reading for pleasure in educational settings and the perception that reading is a solitary and unexciting activity may also contribute to the decline in young people's interest in books. **

Some good Young Adult series to consider are "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins, "Divergent" by Veronica Roth, and "The Mortal Instruments" by Cassandra Clare. Whether you're a fan of dystopian fiction, urban fantasy, or action-packed adventures, these series offer something for everyone in the Young Adult genre. **

Whether The Mortal Instruments series is worth reading depends on individual preferences. If you enjoy urban fantasy, young adult fiction, and stories with a mix of romance, action, and supernatural elements, then you may find this series enjoyable. The books have a dedicated fan base and have been praised for their world-building and character development. However, if these genres are not typically your cup of tea, you may not find the series as engaging. Ultimately, it's best to give the first book a try and see if it captures your interest. **

The After book series is worth reading if you enjoy romance novels with a mix of drama and steamy scenes. The series follows the tumultuous relationship between Tessa and Hardin, and it delves into themes of love, trust, and personal growth. If you're a fan of the New Adult genre and enjoy emotionally intense stories, then the After series may be worth checking out. However, if you're not a fan of angsty romance or are sensitive to toxic relationship dynamics, you may want to skip this series. **
