Neglecting to provide the plant with enough light or nutrients can also lead to its demise. Ultimately, the key is to create an environment that is not conducive to the plant's growth and survival. **

Overwatering can lead to root rot, while lack of sunlight can prevent photosynthesis and stunt growth. Extreme temperatures can stress the plant and eventually kill it, and poor quality soil can deprive the plant of essential nutrients.
