After 6 weeks, the payment of sickness benefit will be made. This means that if an individual is unable to work due to illness or injury, they will receive financial support after the initial 6-week waiting period. This is a common practice in many countries to ensure that individuals have time to recover before receiving financial assistance. It also helps to prevent abuse of the system by ensuring that only those with longer-term illnesses or injuries receive benefits. **
