Laser beams can potentially damage digital cameras and phone cameras if the intensity of the laser is strong enough. The sensor in the camera can be overwhelmed by the intense light, leading to permanent damage. However, most consumer-grade digital cameras and phone cameras have protective filters that can mitigate the effects of low-intensity laser beams. It is important to avoid pointing lasers directly at cameras to prevent any potential damage. **
